Somehow, certain things just get sweeter when scaled-down. Yes, we're a little biased.. but you have to admit our retro shorts pattern fits this mold. Like our retro pants, the drawstring waist makes for a great fit for baby's first play date and every other one after that.
The pockets and the puff are very of-the-moment and so stinkin' cute! I just love seeing babies running around with trendy pants on looking uber cool. Extra room in the rear makes them very practical as well!

There is nothing about this romper that we don't love. The raw edges, the rolled hems, the raw fringes. It all ties together for a fabulous, hipster outfit that is simple to make! It's an attention grabbing look that everyone loves. Especially the child! There is a long and short version in the pattern. Wear by itself for the summer or place a long sleeve shirt underneath for cool weather.
Don't prefer the fringe? Just leave them out!

We felt a pair of pint-size pockets would be the perfect touch to the ever-so practical pull-on. But we chose to go faux to get a bold look. Not just adorable, super easy to sew!
Perfect for napping, crawling and making a mess (a kid's gotta have fun, right?), these track pants were made specifically for all-day comfort and wear. Plus, we gave this pattern a lot of extra attention- with its slightly dropped crotch, side pockets, ankle cuff option and cinched waistband.
$7.50 USDThis retro sweats sewing pattern is perfect for making pants that will last awhile by sewing one size too large. The elastic ankles will hold them up even if they are a little long. Also nice for a crawler that is constantly moving around the house and can crawl right out of their pants. Trust us, we know! They will stay put and look adorable no matter what. Pair with our retro cardigan for an extra old school look.
