If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
Knit fabric, light to medium weight. French terry recommended!
- AMOUNT NEEDED: 1 yard sizes 6-7, 1.25 yard sizes 8-14.
Knit fabric for hood and pocket lining (optional) I recommend a light-medium weight jersey.
- AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yard all sizes
Fabric for bands. Rib knit is recommended but you can use a main fabric if there's similar stretch to a rib.
- AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.25 yards for all sizes
OPTIONAL: Drawstring and eyelets for hood
