The easiest way to a new outfit, this basic skirt is a super fast sew and always looks adorable. Pair with leggings underneath for cooler weather or on it's own!

MATERIALS:

  • Fabric for skirt, light to medium weight depending on desired finished look. A thicker fabric will have a stiffer hold. AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yard sizes 6-7, 0.75 yard sizes 8-14.

    1.25" wide elastic for waist, measurements in tutorial. Range from 20-24"  

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
