Is there anything cuter than a teeny tiny kids hat with ear flaps?  (besides of course, your child wearing a teeny tiny hat with ear flaps?)  We don't think so.  This hat is perfect for the newborns all the way to older kids, perfectly functional and stylish all in one.  Not to mention, easy to sew.

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric for the hat, hat band and ear flaps. We suggest medium weight jersey with elastane in it. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for all sizes
  • Drawstring. Anything can be used. We like pre-made jersey drawstring. AMOUNT NEEDED- 22" for all sizes

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
