If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric. We suggest a light-medium weight jersey. Elastane blend works best is you want to use the main fabric for all pieces. If fabric doesn't have at least 5% elastane then a rib knit will be needed for waistband and cuffs.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3M to 9-12M, 0.75 yards for sizes 12-18M to 3-4T, 1 yard for 4-5 and 5-6. - Drawstring: needed only if you aren't using the belt pattern included. A wider drawstring works better for this pattern.
