This pilot hat style is one of our favorites. It is perfectly unisex and great for adding a little something extra to an everyday outfit!

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric: Medium weight cotton/lycra jersey works great. Must have stretch. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for all sizes
  • Knit fabric for binding: Lightweight ribbing or medium weight stretchy jersey will work. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.12 yards for all sizes

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
