Our retro cardigan is one of those classics that you will find yourself sewing many, many renditions of. Easily sewn in the long sleeve style or as a vest you will love the versatility of this pattern! Change up the closure by using snaps or buttons depending on your preference. Pair with the retro sweats to outfit a stylish, retro looking baby or kid!

MATERIALS:

Knit fabric. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3M to 4-5, 0.75 yards for size 5-6
Ribbing for neck, arm and waist bands. We suggest a 1x1 rib knit or cotton/lycra jersey for light to medium weight fabrics and a 2x1 rib knit for heavy weight fabrics. AMOUNT NEEDED- .25 yards for all sizes.
5 buttons or snaps

MACHINES:

Sewing machine
Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
