This retro sweats sewing pattern is perfect for making pants that will last awhile by sewing one size too large. The elastic ankles will hold them up even if they are a little long. Also nice for a crawler that is constantly moving around the house and can crawl right out of their pants. Trust us, we know! They will stay put and look adorable no matter what. Pair with our retro cardigan for an extra old school look.

MATERIALS:

Knit fabric. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3M and 3-6M, 0.75 yards for sizes 6-9M to 3-4, 1 yard for sizes 4-5 and 5-6.
Elastic for waistband and ankles. Waistband can be from 1/2" to 1" wide. Ankle should be 1/4" wide. Specific measurements in pattern.

Sewing machine
Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
