If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric for the legs.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for sizes 0-3M to 9-12M, 0.5 yards for sizes 12-18M to 5-6T - Knit fabric for waistband. We like using a medium weight, cotton/elastane blend jersey. A rib knit will work as well.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for all sizes - 1 yard of drawstring for the waist. We use a 1 wide strip of knit fabric
