leggings and legging shorts : K002

Slim, fitted legging and shorts for underneath clothing or worn on their own. Make long or short leggings with or without cuffs. Easy to follow tutorial.

 

Legging shorts pair well with our new bubble skirt for big kids.

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric, light to medium weight. Must be stretchy, suitable for fitted leggings.
  • AMOUNT NEEDED: LONG/ NO CUFF: 1 yard sizes 6-10, 1.13 yard sizes 12-14.
  • LONG WITH CUFF: 0.75 yards size 6, 1 yard size 7-14.
  • SHORTS: 0.5 yards all sizes.
  • Elastic for waist: 0.75" wide. Range from 20-24"

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
