If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

- Knit fabric: A french terry or medium weight jersey.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes Preemie to 3-6M, 0.75 yards for sizes 6-9M to 18-24M, 1 yard for sizes 2-3T to 5-6T. - Knit fabric for cuffs, bands and inside hood: Rib knit or stretchy jersey.
AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yards for all sizes. - Separating zipper- sizes in pattern. Range is from 7-18 long.
- Optional: Wonder tape for sewing zipper in.
