If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

- Knit fabric. We love a stretchy french terry or jersey. Needs to have stretch.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3 and 3-6M, 0.75 yards for sizes 6-9M to 5-6T - Knit fabric for binding. We always use a light or medium weight jersey. Light weight rib knit will work too.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.13 yards for all sizes - 7 sets of snaps size 14 or 15
