If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric. Medium weight jersey, lightweight french terry are recommended
- AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yards for sizes 6 to 8
- 0.75 yards for sizes 10 to 14
- Rib knit for waistband. You can use your main fabric if it has a similar stretch amount to a rib.
- AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.25 yards for all sizes
- Elastic for waistband: 1.25 wide
