MATERIALS:

Knit fabric for main body: A medium weight jersey works best. Most types will work.
AMOUNT NEEDED for PANTS- 0.5 yards for sizes Preemie and NB, 0.75 yard for sizes 0-3M to 9-12M, 1 yard for sizes 12-18M to 3-4T, 1.25 yards for 4-5T and 5-6T
AMOUNT NEEDED for SHORTS: 0.5 yards for Preemie to 6-9M, 0.75 yards for sizes 9-12M to 5-6T
1" wide elastic for waist and 1/4" wide elastic for legs. Chart available in pattern.
Lightweight fusible interfacing: 0.12 yards for all sizes
2 sets of snaps and snap setter. Size 14 snaps aka: 5/16" or 8mm suggested

MACHINES:

Sewing machine
Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
