Grown Up Raglan Tee GU04

A great quick shirt for running errands or to the ball field, try the new grown-up raglan tee – a wardrobe heavy hitter. In fine fabrics, this style works for Date Night too. A great way to use scraps in your stash, the raglan tee sleeve options are short sleeve, the classic 3/4 raglan sleeve, and long sleeve. 

In close fit sizes XS - 4X and loose fit sizes XS - 5XL. Pattern comes with both size ranges for different fits. The loose fit has a broader shoulder width, more width in the underarm, and more length. Patterns also have shorten/lengthen lines to adjust for your ideal fit.

MATERIALS:

  • Fabric:
    • Medium-weight jersey, interlock, or stretchy french terry.
    • Using regular sweatshirt fleece may make it difficult to get over the head.
    Amount Needed: Close Fit:
    • 3/4 yard – Main fabric (XS–1X)
    • 1 1/4 yards – Main fabric (2X–4X)
    • 1 yard – Contrast fabric (all sizes)
    Loose Fit:
    • 1 yard – Main fabric (XS–M)
    • 1 1/2 yards – Main fabric (L–3XL)
    • 1 3/4 yards – Main fabric (4XL–5XL)
    • 1 1/4 yards – Contrast fabric (all sizes)

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
