If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric for top. We suggest a medium weight jersey knit or french terry.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes up to 18-24M, 0.75 yards for sizes 2-3T to 5-6T - Knit fabric for cuffs. Light to medium weight ribbing depending on top fabric weight. A stretchy jersey can work too.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for all sizes - Knit fabric for skirt panels. A contrasting print will make it look like separates. Knit or woven can be used although knit is recommended. Should be lighter weight than the top.
AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for size 0-3M and 3-6M, 0.5 yards for sizes 6-9M to 4-5T, 0.75 yards for 5-6T.
