The poufy silhouette has a paperbag waist, a stretchy lining, and pairs well with our legging shorts. You can use woven or knit fabric for the outer skirt. This skirt is great for the playground, playing dress-up, and special occasions.

If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

Knit fabric OR woven fabric for the outer skirt. For inner skirt, choose a stretchy knit.
1 YARD FOR SIZES 6-7 outer skirt + 1/3 YARD inner skirt lining
1.25 YARDS FOR SIZES 8-14 outer skirt + 1/2 YARD SIZE 8 or 1 YARD SIZE 10-14 inner skirt lining
1.25 (3.175cm) wide elastic to make waistband
