If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3M to 4-5, 0.75 yards for size 5-6\r\nRibbing for neck, arm and waist bands. We suggest a 1x1 rib knit or cotton/lycra jersey for light to medium weight fabrics and a 2x1 rib knit for heavy weight fabrics.
