t-shirt dress : 58

At Brindille & Twig, we’re not in the habit of playing favorites. But if we had to choose, our t-shirt dress may just be one of them. With its flared bottom and curved hem, this dress fits almost any occasion.

Like many of our designs, pattern includes instructions for both long and short sleeve.

If you want to mix it up, here is a pattern mod for extra volume.

Shown here with the leggings (sized up to be a little loose).

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric: We suggest a cotton jersey knit. Needs to be stretchy enough to fit over head. AMOUNT NEEDED- 1 yard for sizes 0-3M to 12-18M, 1.25 yards for sizes 18-24M to 5-6T

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
