flutter sweatshirt dress : 61

A modern take on the sweatshirt dress, this can be made into a short sleeve, summery style or a warm, long sleeved dress. Easy to construct and looks perfect with our classic leggings pattern. 

This dress is a baggy fit. Sew 1 size smaller for a tighter fit. 

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric. We suggest a cotton jersey or stretchy french terry, depending on how warm you want the garment. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.5 yards for sizes 0-3M and 3-6M, 0.75 yards for sizes 6-9M to 18-24M, 1 yard for sizes 2-3T to 5-6T

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
