Kimono sleeve romper, perfect for solid fabrics!
This unisex kimono sleeve romper has a lot of different ways to finish it. If you’re sewing for an older child you can use a good, stretchy fabric and skip the snaps, just pull it up through the neck. If you don’t like the pockets, leave them off!! I love them personally 🙂
The fit is really generous so if you like a closer fit, size down one. I like the generous fit for Eleanor, she seems to like it too.
You can do a traditional hem on the sleeves and legs. I show a rolled arm hem and raw leg hem, just my preference!

The drawstring casing is sewn to the inside
Pockets are sewn on raw, no folding and hemming.
If you’re doing snaps, there’s a facing sewn to each inseam.
Neckband is serged to the neck from shoulder to shoulder.
Snaps placed, if you’re not doing snaps, this will just be serged shut.
Drawstring is threaded and completed!
I sewed up a few for Eleanor. The first two have snaps and the last one has the inseam sewn shut because that blue fabric is really stretchy. I like the solid fabrics the best but a print works too!
