Brindille and Twig’s new free pattern: The ringer tee

The Ringer
It’s been awhile since I offered a free pattern so I decided it’s about time! I made the ringer tee as an easy, fast style that anyone can try out. Even as a first project!
The pattern also has the new layers feature you can read about here.
I will show a short tutorial below so you know how easy it is to put together.

Sneak Peek at the Tutorial Steps

I am using the short sleeve version but there’s a long sleeve version included.
The shoulders and sleeves are serged together:

Then the side seams closed:

And the last step is serging the armband, waistband and neckband on!

This pattern is so simple and works perfectly with a super funky fabric.
Find the Ringer Tee Family
Now the whole family can rock ringer tees together. This is a fast sew, a good first knit project, that is easy to make your own. Ringer tees are great for costumes, quick gifts, novelty shirts, and any outfit that needs a little more personality.
The Ringer Tee for Grown Ups features:
* close fit or loose fit
* short or long sleeves
* optional waistband (on the close fit)
* or, use the waistband cutline to make a cropped tee
