If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.

Knit fabric of any kind will work for this t-shirt, we suggest a medium weight jersey knit or a stretchy french terry knit.
AMOUNT NEEDED
- 3/4 YARD FOR SIZES 6-7
- 1 and 1/4 YARDS FOR SIZE 8
- 1 and 1/2 YARDS FOR SIZES 10-14
Ribbing for neck, arm and waist bands. We suggest a 1x1 rib knit or cotton/lycra jersey for light to medium weight fabrics and a 2x1 rib knit for heavy weight fabrics.
