Pocket shorts just like the small kids style, these shorts are an easy sew, straight, slimmer fit and pair well with many styles of top! Sweatshirt or baggy tee, you call it!

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric: light to medium weight. AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yard sizes 6-8, 0.75 yard sizes 10-14.

    Knit fabric for waistband: Rib knit or main fabric if it's a similar stretch to rib. AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.25 yards for all sizes

    Optional: Drawstring, can be cut from waistband fabric 

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
