These pants make a statement in both the long and the short version. Easy to make and comfortable for all stages! The yoga style, fold-over waistband and drawstring are a killer combo for style and function. A modern look to go with a modern fabric.

MATERIALS:

Knit fabric for legs and pockets, most types will work well. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for size Preemie, 0.5 yards for sizes NB to 12-18M, 0.75 yards for sizes 18-24M to 5-6T
SHORTS VERSION: AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for sizes up to 18-24M, 0.5 yards for sizes 2-3T to 5-6T
Ribbing for the cuffs, waistband and drawstring. We prefer a 1x1 rib knit or cotton/lycra jersey for light and medium weight fabrics. 2x1 ribbing for heavy fabrics. AMOUNT NEEDED: 0.5 yards for all sizes

Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
