If you don't own a serger, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
Unit:
- Knit fabric for dress. We suggest a medium weight jersey knit or stretchy french terry.
AMOUNT NEEDED- SHORT SLEEVE: 0.5 yards for 0-3M to 3-6M, 0.75 yards for sizes 6-9M to 5-6T. LONG SLEEVE: 0.75 yards for 0-3M to 9-12M, 1.5 yards for 12-18M to 18-24M, 1.75 yards for 2-3T to 5-6T. - Knit fabric for neckband. We like using light weight ribbing fabric or a medium weight stretchy jersey.
