There is nothing about this romper that we don't love. The raw edges, the rolled hems, the raw fringes. It all ties together for a fabulous, hipster outfit that is simple to make! It's an attention grabbing look that everyone loves. Especially the child! There is a long and short version in the pattern. Wear by itself for the summer or place a long sleeve shirt underneath for cool weather.

Don't prefer the fringe? Just leave them out!

MATERIALS:

Knit fabric: We suggest a light weight cotton jersey knit. Less stretchy works better. Our fave is a cotton/hemp blend. AMOUNT NEEDED FOR SHORT VERSION- 0.5 yards for sizes up to 0-3M, 0.75 yard for sizes 3-6M to 3-4T, 1 yard for sizes 4-5T and 5-6T. AMOUNT NEEDED FOR LONG VERSION- 0.75 yards for sizes up to 6-9M, 1 yards for sizes 9-12M to 2-3T, 1.25 yards for sizes 3-4T to 5-6T.

MACHINES:

Sewing machine
Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
