Our latest free pattern is a classic, versatile diaper cover that can be made with or without a drawstring.  Choose elastic or knit bands for the legs.  These bummies are an easy, fun sew!!!   

MATERIALS:

  • Knit fabric. Most types will work. AMOUNT NEEDED- 0.25 yards for PM and NB, 0.5 yards for 0-3M to 2-3T.
  • 0.5" wide elastic. Range is from 12-17.5". Measurements in tutorial.
  • 0.25" wide elastic if using elastic option for legs. Range is 6.5-10.5". Measurements in tutorial.
  • Optional: Drawstring- 20-30" long. Any type will work.

MACHINES:

  • Sewing machine
  • Overlock machine / Serger – If you don't own one, you can use a small zig-zag stitch in place of the serged seam.
